One bush, can never hide two thieves.

Seems legit.

maybe not.

Don't let that pesky IRS thing stop you. Clearly that must of been a typo.

Or not.

The truth is that on October 30, 2012 Guardian Oak Growth By Giving Association was recognized by the state of Missouri as a Non Profit Corporation.

Draw your own conclusions, it's your money.
Not mine.

Think I am wrong.  Prove it.
Let's see that determination letter.

Money is like manure. You have to spread it around or it smells.

Money is a powerful motivator, coupled with a heart breaking cause, it can effect a host of dramatics that belong in a five part mini series on television.

Know where your money goes, research people!!!!
Google, IRS, State, and various other websites can often give you clues as to are you donating to a legit cause.

The cut throat business of donations for various "rescues" can be down right vicious.  People will stop at nothing to prevent one another from getting that extra dollar.  There are many blogs out there documenting the pros and cons of broker programs, some that hide behind a 501c3, some that would like to hide behind a federal non profit status, and some that refer to themselves as a "community effort".  Well, sweetheart at the end of the day, most if not all of these types of broker programs have one thing in common, horses being the main source of income.

Who really benefits from the cause?

In many cases it's not the horses. Horses sent back into bad situations, no shortage of those.  Just look on Facebook.  Horses that end up having health issues so immense that often the new owner is over whelmed not just emotionally, but financially.  Horses that end up being shuffled from one broker program to another, one auction to yet another.  Yet the general public still supports these programs.  Various breed specific rescues, and well rescues in general are unwittingly at times feeding into this, the tug, the plea, and the pictures.
Are there benefits to rescues pulling specifically from broker programs?  Absolutely, it tugs at human emotion, and compassion, it essentially creates a mass following of sheeple.  People that blindly give, give, and give.  Because humans are compassionate, we feel empathy, sympathy, and as species, we like to feel that we have been part of a greater good.

I cannot tell you how many times, I have heard this line "it's all about the horses".  But, is it?  Or is it solely about the feel good moment?  Or is about the increments of egotism that come with the praise?

But, really what it comes down to is the feel good moment.  That one moment, where a individual can say "It was me that saved the horse" or "I helped get that horse to safety."  The moment fades, and sometimes individuals are left holding the bag.  Looking at that very bag and saying "now what?"

Those that are doing it the right way, which are very few.  Aren't saying "now what?" , they are saying "what the hell?".   While those that are struggling to find a ethical solution for unwanted horses, trying to stop them before reaching auction, you know those pesky craigslist horses that people like to save, you know to prevent them from ending up on the lots or in sale, or on a Facebook page.  The numerous owner surrenders, the ones seized from animal control.  The lack of community support they receive is astounding.  It is very disheartening.  Is it because once in true rescue there is no time limit?  No dead line?  No bail price?

Yes.

"Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder."

Think about it.

with my eyes I spy.

While there is much in the works.  This is a quick public P.S.A.

With the rather highly anticipated Troutman, North Carolina Auction looming in this week.  It's imperative that people beware of what just could be at that sale.  Aside of the conduit of traders, buyers and sellers, there could also be a array of wanted merchandise.

Such as KC.  Who changed hands and was found consigned at New Holland Sales Stables.

Sadly, it seems as if everyone has amnesia, and just cannot remember who, how, or where the horse went.  Some seem to think he shipped, I beg to differ.  A horse like this is worth more money alive then dead.   From a traders perspective.  That horse has the potential to be high dollars on four legs, don't kid yourself people the meat prices aren't paying what everyone else would like you to think.

If anyone is to be attending this lovely event.

Keep a eye out for this horse, the owner would like KC back home.

There seems to be a guilty conscious out there in the cesspool.

No worries, we won't say your name out loud.

Just yet.

Lie with dogs, you are bound to get fleas.

Seems to be some disgruntled individuals in broker land.
(thanks for the screen shots my friend.)

what's this we have here?  It wasn't very long ago, there was a association between the two.  I mean weren't you just at Bruce's lot not too long ago?  (remember there was no mark up.cough. cough. bullshit.)

Well, I don't see any blood.  Dirty  trailer, which is nothing new, it's Moore's trailer.  Has anyone really looked at his pit he calls his holding facility.  Oh wait, that's a large word, one of which he would never use.  His barn.  That's better, small words work, not the big ones.  Just want to make sure that everyone can clearly read what is being typed.  Fancy five dollar words.

Yes, we can say hypocrite.  We can also say swindler, malingerer, and pharisee.
Remember that saying, pot meet kettle, kettle meet pot.

It's interesting, because wasn't it Sunscrew that gave her the start in the business?  Of course the Shit Shack is the organization that made the blue print on how to be horse dealer in rescue clothing.  We can see that the birds are still roosting together.

Listen ladies, put whatever spin you want on things, community effort, rescue, saving slaughter bound horses, brokers, and whatever colorful play on words to get those dollars.  At the end of the day you are nothing more than a common flagitious dealer.  You are no better, than the scalpers, the traders, the buyers, and the suckers they bid up,  the low level dealers hustling their stock, at the end of the day the almighty dollar is what drives all parties involved.

It truly is all about the horses.

Well, the dealing part anyway.

Stay Sharp, Bitches.

Showing off is the fool's idea of glory.

The hustle that pays off.

While The Ethic of Equine Rescue gang is signing their John Hancock on some documents.  I really felt as if this needed some elaboration.  Possibly to the tune of "pulling" on the heart strings of donors.

Not to worry hopefully this will "yank" the rug out from under some individuals.

John Q. Public in most cases does not understand the difference between a Not For Profit and a 501c3.  As stated in the above blog, the definitions are clear between the two coveted titles.  To sum it up in laymen's terms, one is no tax write off, and one is a write off.  To most donors the difference is no real matter, unless donating a certain amount of sums that could assist in the dreaded month of April.

What about when you see a on going trend?

It seems that certain trends, well stay current.  Like pulling pregnant mares from auctions, no pun intended.  After all who doesn't love foals?

"You pick your road and keep going".

On more than one occasion the travesties at New Holland have made blogs buzz, news but not note worthy to most.  And have left more than a handful of Animal and Equine Welfare activist baffled by the lack of enforcement from not one, but two separate agencies.

In a recent article Dr. James Holt the attending veterinarian at New Holland Sales Barn, and moonlights as the  independent veterinarian that signs off on hundreds of horses death warrants for Brian Moore the notorious East Coast Kill Buyer seems to be looking for nails at low tide.

The abate horse puckey that spews from this articles is immense.

I am glad to know that Holt has his own standards that sound fantastically spoken, but reek that of week old garbage.

The truth is, I could sit here for hours on end, and rebuttal about every statement Jim made.  However, that would turn into a novel.

The "fit for sale" guide lines were revised, and surprise, surprise,  Dr.Holt was one of the individuals who assisted in creating a clearer image of these said guide lines.  Dr.Holt's memory must be slipping, or is it selective?

There have been numerous cases of "fake" coggins, half heaped health certificates, not to mention the number of horses that were not fit for sale being allowed to walk or hobble down the aisle way of New Holland Sales Stables.

Mondays will continue to come, and horses will continue to be unfit for sale, and Dr.Holt will continue to collect those dollars.  "Rescues" will continue to ensure there is a market for these unfit horses for sale.  In true typical fashion of the hustlers and scum, laughing the whole way to the bank.

Before I choose not to let sleeping dogs lie.  I am overly thrilled to know that LAPS is there on a weekly basis, collecting unfit horses, they must of started checking that voice mail box more then twice a day.  Bravo.

As Dr.Jim Holt so wisely stated "You pick your road and keep going."

He is right, after all Karma is two way road.

Beep. Beep.

Start Paddling Sunshine.

Sunday Sharing.

Sharing the wealth is a good thing, especially that in the Truck is Coming Saga.  I received a link to a interesting, and very colorful document.  This very single document tracks just about every horse that has ever ran through the East Coast's most notorious broker owned program.

I am amazed and yet perplexed at the hours it must of taken this data miner to assemble such a granger of information.  It would not shock me in the least to think that this individual is also tracking Rotz's umbrageous horse business.

It's a fairly complicated document, so I did kindly receive a explanation of how to read it.

How silly of me, a link to the document also.

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1L4NjWCxTJ3eUstTnZDQkNfZVE/edit?usp=sharing

Oh one last thing.

Beep. Beep.

I truly don't have much to say today.  After all despite what has been said, and published, sheeple still believe that the truck is coming.  Honestly, I don't know where it is coming from, or where it is going, I cannot even speculate if it's stopping.  The Peanut Gallery is beyond  a absolute doubt convinced that it is arriving.

What's the ETA on this so called truck?

What I can say is the Karma Bus has been creating a bit of a highway hell for the well known notorious broker program.

It all started when Karma bit a certain low level dealer in the ass with text messages describing his disagreeable feelings on them (I would like to give kudos to him for his primitive, but descriptive text.  It was similar to deciphering ancient language).  I bet that hurt, and not feelings either.  That was the first stop.  After that initial stop, it is a affable of stops.  News articles, Moore's wife giving a opprobrious series of statements to Lancasteronline.  Which was surprisingly shared by the Paulick Report.  Kudos, we know how far that audience expands.

Of course we cannot forget about the entries, exposing everything from the plants to simplicity of the green tag, and all the hoodwink in between.

In case you have not read them, or kept up, you can do so here The Ethics of Equine Rescue.

I guess I do have a point to this entry after all.

Just a simplistic picture will do.

Wednesday Wavering.

Let's be honest, you seem to be having a tough time selling those horses. Oh.  I mean rescuing them.  I can get a retraction on the first line, please?

Tuesday we have this.

There is just a hovering stench of bullshit that tends to lurk in the air with this Broker Program.

Let's just be honest with ourselves here.  The half bail, is the bottom dollar price Moore needs.  Maybe with a few extra bucks left over for one's troubles.

Did the truck come?

Or will be seeing these horses ran back thru sale?  Or ending up at Gail's farm for sale?  How about Val's place?  I would say the Oxford location, but it seems as if they wised up.  Possibly even Haycock Stables?  Ho hum.

I can assure the truck that came, was not one that was hauling kill cattle on the way down, and hauling kill horses on the way back to Canada.

Don't worry Brian, if the Shit Shack can't flip'em for you, I am sure good ole' Gail can.  After all one can never feed enough horses to a woman, right?  Or was that a line of credit that you extended?

Just the devil in the details.

A tongue weighs so little, yet few can hold it.

The previous Sunday, there was a lovely, and very informative article released by Lancaster Online.
It seemed as if those quotations made a certain rescue's walls start to tremble a bit, so much so that there was rebuttal released.  After careful consideration, and in a epic manner to maintain class and dignity, this was released demanding retraction!

(Please do not drink anything while reading this, I would hate to see you spit your drink out all over your phone, computer, Ipad, and so forth.   Not to mention liquids being snorted out of your nostrils.)

LIES ALL LIES!!!!!!

I cannot help but to chuckle over this rebuttal, what a noble and valiant attempt to disguise one's wrong doings, and keep up appearances with a colleague.  This types of statements questioning one's ethical business operations is nothing new, after all a employee of the Manure Menagerie was quite willing to express his thoughts on their rescue efforts.   Even Mr.Stoltzfus had colorful descriptions and opinions of their rescue effort.  Dare I say more?

While I never did get a response about what the thoughts were about a "rescue" having a dealer's license.  I did discover that there were some names missing from the list.  Cough. Cough.

The Whole Document can be viewed here.
PA Dealers License.

And a brief document explaining what and why the Dealers License is in existence.
Domestic Animal Law

Of course and we cannot forget about those pesky enforcement policies.
Domestic Animal Law (2)

While I am sure, this whole fiasco is a simple misunderstanding, and a slew of twisted words molded into damaging statements.

But, after all isn't the proof in the pudding?

This seems to go hand in hand with this Public Service Announcement.

What are you waiting on?  Go ahead and make that call.

Pot meet Kettle.

Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?

The only ruination to the horse business is the cesspool that you wade in my love and that includes those that you have declared that you are not associated with.

A half-truth does more mischief than a whole lie, Sunshine.

“I suppose we all lie to ourselves sometimes.”

Tell me sweet little lies.  Especially that on a Sunday.

Read it and weep.

What no call backs?  No return emails?  Surely you aren't that busy any other day than Monday or Tuesday?

In the article linked above it appears that there is waspish tone coming from those interviewed.

Interesting, it seemed like yesterday that I received a email with various screen shots about a "associate" of the Manure Menagerie.  Let me refresh your memory.  How is that balancing act going for you?

Of course I have to add insult to injury.

I would love to hear about her feelings on a "rescue" that has dealers license?  Especially one that makes regular visits to the property.

Ho hum.  What a indomitable statement we have here.

knock. knock. mother f*cker.

Honesty is the soul of business.

I have been in a share type of mood a lot here lately.  Call me generous if you will.

This is a mini.  Minis do not ship.

It is a nice demonstration of the extreme lengths  they are willing to venture to for a meal ticket. Enjoy those meals while you can!  I heard prison food isn't what it's cracked up to be.

Those that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.........

Throwing stones, are we now?

Haven't you learned about the glass house theory?

This mare pictured here at Bruce Rotz's lot, was a AC$H Broker Owned horse.

Here evaluation video Ally.

And a screen shot of her at Moore's lot.

Seems as if you two have more in common than you care to acknowledge.

Cheers.

Moving Forward in Reverse

Since life has kept some of us very busy.
Another update of the truck is coming sage is due.

We can't forget about the men that make these contemptible programs happen.  So, let me be the first to tip my hat to all of you.

We shall revisit the Moore Fleet seen here in this  blog  The Truck is Coming.  Now, if you would like to know more about just how that truck comes along, feel free to read up here The Ethics of Equine Rescue.

It appears as if Mr. Moore only has a intrastate CDL, meaning there is no traveling outside of the state of PA.

So, for those of you that have seen Mr.Moore's rigs at Unidallia, and other out of state auctions.  Snap a pic, because  the DOT would love to see it.  (they even have fax available.).

I would also like to add, it does not matter who he puts behind the wheel.

And since we all know that despite what goes on in the public eye, there is also the seedy underbelly, people at the sales barn should be aware that paying Phil Shirk to haul for you is bad news.  Seems as Phil has failed to stay in good standing with the U.S. DOT.

Seems after a nice conversation with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration they were a tad considered that he was still operating.

Feel free to hit the link above if you catch him hauling loads, DOT would love to hear from you.

You can also voice your concerns here in the local field offices. (and note fax is also available to share those lovely pictures.)

Maybe it's time for those that fortunate sides with on a dare changes.

“Even doubtful accusations leave a stain behind them”

In the latest babble by the East Coast's most notorious Broker Program, errr, I mean rescue.  The Matriarch declares "We have been set up!"  And mentions also that the FBI during that morning raid was playing connect the dots with laser sighted weapons.  Honestly, I didn't think they took Health Certificates that serious, who knew.

For those that dare the voice that can effects similar to that of Medusa.  Feel free to watch it here "Charity" owner speaks out.  I would of personally used the word Charity in a rather loose fashion, that's just me though.

So, why stop there right?  After all someone has to stop them from going on the truck.  Once again we are back on the mini debate.  Mini's don't ship. Period.  However, that won't stop the Shit Shack from plucking some poor soul's pocket.

That is a extreme margin in price.  A far cry from the normal spread of  25 to 50 dollars that he normally offers private individuals.

If you have a good eye, you shall notice the mini mule team that was once being hawked by the other half of the dynamic duo of the Broker programs.  Would this be considered recycling on a horse dealing level?

Never mind the obvious heat, the foals that were left out in direct sunlight with no access to water, or the normal host of man handling, or how about the horses stuck out on the trailers of the dealers, all of that is ok?  Now which set of haters is effecting change?

Seems to me that those individuals that find themselves doubting a situation are the first to sing the loudest.

Bottoms Up!

Friday, May 31, 2013

Beware of a friend that was once your foe.

I really wanted to write about some concerning issues with the Centre Hall Auction, and the large Memorial Day New Holland sale, and of course, the hustlers of the horse world, and the corrupt individuals allowing them to carry on.  However, we all need to enjoy a laugh now and again.

Someone sent this lovely screen shot to me, and I had to indulge and share.

Birds of a feather flock together?

Let me say that I admire this Jules woman, she's a no holds bar, tell it how it is, was, and should be type.  Jules, I raise my ice cold pint to you, and say Cheers my dear, keep giving them hell!

As with all things in the truck is coming saga, frienenemies are second to none, and this is simply case in point.  It wasn't too long ago these two chicanery horse dealers were anything but friendly with one another.

I leave you with this to digest "your friend lends and your enemy ask for payment."

Oh, one last introspection for those that I am sure will be vehement over this entry.

Tick, toc, tick, toc.  After all that was no social call.

Cheers!

Advertising - a judicious mixture of flattery and threats.

I hear orange is a flattering color, not to mention the silver accents.  Do you hear that?  Is that a clock ticking?  Or some chains clinking?

Despite the recent social call from the FBI, and yet a recent public confirmation from investigators declaring they are under investigation for fraud, AC$H is still hornswoggling the living hell out of people.  I can hear that phone ringing, some people should really answer the call.

This afternoon, they made a urgent plea for the sum of 500.00 dollars for a pair of donkeys.  In true form of being a megalomaniac, any comments pointing out any ethical discretion were deleted.  (not to worry, I am sure someone has them saved somewhere)  This was ballsy, but someone has to pay the bills, after all who's going to pay for legal fees?

So, they were too thin to run threw sale???  Hmmmmmm.......

But, yet they traveled with a health cert and coggins?

(I would just like to add that Snuffy looked much, much worse than this.  And not too long ago I did see Dr.Holt pulling a coggins on two NZ bred Standies that had a BCS of 3, and yes they ran threw sale and sold. So, pardon me that her spewing of bullshit doesn't work with me.)

Now, I wonder if they are going or have charged the 80.00 in vetting fees?  And the fifty dollar transport fee, and the fifteen dollar a day holding fee, despite the fact that they had lost their layover barn, and who gets that fifty dollars, Sheidy or Moore? And by the way a coggins is around 20 dollars, and health cert is 17.  You do the math.

You know what, don't do the math, just keep blindly donating to some twatwaffle who just got raided by the FBI, who is currently under investigation for fraud, and keep defending her good practices, that rival that of Tee from Lifeline, go on  now toss those dollars out the door!   After all the truck is coming, too bad it's the paddy wagon.
Cheers!
